Adopt a German Shepherd Dog (medium coat)

German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) Dog

Bella Robin the Dog needs a home

Bella Robin has a quite few things going for her, not the least of which is that she is absolutely stunning.  Furry friends?  Cats?  Oh, yes, she likes her cats, in a good way.  She has grown up with them all her life.  She has even lived with a Dachsund.   People? She can be more of a shy girl who likes to get to know you on her terms.  She loves her family but would prefer that people not stick their hand in her face to sniff when they greet her.    She likes to sniff when she’s ready.  She has always been in a home where she has had human companionship, so long hours alone would not be good for her.  Small children can be scary for her as they do things that are, well, unexpected, like jump around and make funny noises that she doesn’t recognize.

Since coming to the rescue, she is learning that the big world, isn’t a scary place and is loving meeting new people, but she would love to have a family that doesn’t expect her to be a  social butterfly to anyone and everyone.  Unconditional love and affection, loyalty, and friendship, that she reserves for her family; and, after all, isn’t family what it’s all about?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.

Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.

We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next!
